Intraday Calls

Review of the Last Intraday:

During previous intraday the Nifty moved in a range of 66 points. The Share Bazaar closed 21 points positive at 6022, after making an intraday high and low of 6028 and 5962 respectively. Yesterday, European indices were mix. FTSE was up 9 points, CAC was up 0.34 points, and DAX was down 12 points. US markets were down. Dow Jones closed down 5 points, S&P 500 was down 4 points, and Nasdaq was down by 20 points.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:

On the last trading day, FIIs sold Rs. 576 crores in cash segment while DIIs bought Rs. 815 crores in cash. FIIs sold Rs. 446 crores in Index futures and FIIs bought Rs. 147 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 14 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 21 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI. 

Options Segment Activity:

In f&o market, February series options data tells that, Nifty 6100 call adds 2.8 lac shares. Nifty 6000 put adds 5.9 lac shares. Highest OI of 50.9 lac shares is at 6200 call and 75.8 lac shares is at 6000 put. According to options data, Bulls have upper hand on bears.

  

Currency Market:

In the currency market the USDINR closed at 62.57. The INR was weak by 0.01 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading flat to positive. Nikkei is up 38 points, Hang Seng is up 87 points, Taiwan is up by 35 points, and Kospi is up by 12 points. Today Nifty opened at 6028 up 5 points and made an intraday high of 6048 and low of 5990 till 10:30 a.m. Today after opening high market is coming down. 

Mid-day Review:
For the intraday, till 1:08 p.m. Nifty is down about 33 points. Top gainers for Nifty are COALINDIA, TATAPOWER, and HINDUNILVR while losers are JPASSOCIAT, BHEL, and DLF. Intraday Options Data:
