Intraday Calls

Review of the Last Intraday:

During previous intraday the Nifty made a high of 6056 and low 5984. After making an intraday range of 72 points, the Share Bazaar closed up 47 points at 6048. On the last trading day, European indices were up. FTSE was up 4 points, CAC was up 27 point, and DAX was up 66 points. US markets were up. Dow Jones closed up 127 points, S&P 500 was up 9 points, and Nasdaq was up by 3 points.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:

Yesterday, FIIs sold Rs. 15 crores in cash segment and DIIs also sold Rs. 45 crores in cash. FIIs sold Rs. 115 crores in Index futures and FIIs sold Rs. 349 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs bought Rs. 97 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 50 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI.

Options Segment Activity:

In f&o market, February series options data tells that, Nifty 6100 call sheds 6.8 lac shares. Nifty 6000 put sheds 3.2 lac shares. Maximum 64.6 lac shares are outstanding at 6200 call and 91.8 lac shares at 6000 put. According to options data, bulls have upper hand on bears.

Currency Market:
In the currency market the USDINR closed at 61.93. The INR was strong by 0.49 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading positive. Nikkei is down 22 points, Hang Seng is up 197 points, Taiwan is up by 18 points, and Kospi is up by 8 points. Nifty made an intraday high of 6079 and low of 6038 till 1:07 p.m. Top gainers for Nifty are TATAPOWER, DRREDDY, and HDFC whereas losers are NMDC, HINDALCO, and JPASSOCIAT. Intraday Options Data:
