Intraday Calls

Review of the Last Intraday:

During previous intraday the Nifty made a high of 6277 and low 6212. After making an intraday range of 55 points, the Share Bazaar closed down 55 points at 6221. On the last trading day, European indices were crashed. FTSE was down 101 points, CAC was down 117 point, and DAX was down 333 points. US markets were down. Dow Jones closed down 154 points, S&P 500 was down 14 points, and Nasdaq was down by 31 points.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:

Yesterday, FIIs bought Rs. 199 crores in cash segment and DIIs also bought Rs. 1566 crores in cash. FIIs sold Rs. 314 crores in Index futures and FIIs purchased Rs. 511 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs bought Rs. 156 crores and in stock options FIIs bought Rs. 43 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI.

Options Segment Activity:

In f&o market, March series options data tells that, Nifty 6300 call adds 8.7 lac shares. Nifty 6200 put adds 11.7 lac shares. Maximum 53 lac shares are outstanding at 6300 call and 56 crore shares at 6200 put. According to options data, bulls are defending the level of 6200.

Currency Market:
In the currency market the USDINR closed at 62.04 The INR was weak by 0.29 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading flat. Nikkei is up 13 points, Hang Seng is up 40 points, Taiwan is down by 16 points, and Kospi is down by 3 points. Today Nifty opened at 6216 down 4 points and made an intraday high of 6247 and low of 6215 till 11:05 a.m. Today market should consolidate.

Nifty is at 6291 up 70 points. Nifty made an intraday high of 6299 and low of 6215 till 1:12 p.m. Top gainers for Nifty are HINDALCO, IDFC, and INDUSINDBK whereas losers are DLF, HCLTECH, and SUNPHARMA. Intraday Options Data:
