Intraday Calls

Review of the Last Intraday:

During previous intraday the Nifty moved in a range of 54 points. The Share Bazaar closed 38 points positive at 6277, after making an intraday high and low of 6228 and 6282 respectively. Yesterday, European indices were mix. FTSE was down 0.57 points, CAC was up 12 points, and DAX was up 104 points. US markets were also mix. Dow Jones closed up 49 points, S&P 500 was up 5 points, and Nasdaq was down by 11 points.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:

On the last trading day, FIIs bought Rs. 592 crores in cash segment and DIIs also bought Rs. 12 crores in cash. FIIs sold Rs. 142 crores in Index futures and FIIs bought Rs. 589 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs bought Rs. 433 crores and in stock options FIIs bought Rs. 92 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI. 

Options Segment Activity:

In f&o market, March series options data tells that, Nifty 6300 call adds 10.2 lac shares and Nifty 6400 call adds 8.2 lac shares. Nifty 6200 put adds 8.3 lac shares. Highest OI of 45.1 lac shares is at 6300 call and 45.8 lac shares is at 6200 put. According to options data, bulls have upper hand on bears.

  

Currency Market:

In the currency market the USDINR closed at 61.75. The INR was strong by 0.23 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading down. Nikkei is down 357 points, Hang Seng is down 226 points, Taiwan is down by 76 points, and Kospi is down by 23 point. Today Nifty opened at 6264 down 12 points. The market should go down by 30-40 points.
