Intraday Calls

Review of the Last Intraday:

During previous intraday the Nifty moved in a range of 67 points. The Share Bazaar closed 72 points positive at 6401, after making an intraday high and low of 6406 and 6339 respectively. Yesterday, European indices were up. FTSE was up 13 points, CAC was up 26 points, and DAX was up 0.85 points. US markets were also mix. Dow Jones closed up 62 points, S&P 500 was up 3 points, and Nasdaq was down by 6 points.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:

On the last trading day, FIIs bought Rs. 1273 crores in cash segment while DIIs sold Rs. 567 crores in cash. FIIs purchased Rs. 961 crores in Index futures and FIIs bought Rs. 1338 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs bought Rs. 346 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 17 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI. 

Options Segment Activity:

In f&o market, March series options data tells that, Nifty 6500 call adds 14.8 lac shares. Nifty 6400 put adds 14.3 lac shares and Nifty 6300 put adds 18.9 lac shares. Highest OI of 55.5 lac shares is at 6400 call and 75.9 lac shares is at 6200 put. According to options data, bulls are pushing bears above the level of 6400.

  

Currency Market:

In the currency market the USDINR closed at 61.11. The INR was strong by 0.64 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading positive. Nikkei is up 118 points, Hang Seng is up 26 points, Taiwan is up by 50 points, and Kospi is up by 4 points. Today Nifty opened at 6413 up 12 points and made an intraday high of 6463 and low of 6413 till 10:08 a.m. Finally Nifty is trading at new life highs.

Mid-day Review:
For the intraday, till 1:05 p.m. Nifty is up about 91 points. Top gainers for Nifty are DLF, ICICIBANK, and AXISBANK while losers are WIPRO, DRREDDY, and INFY.
