Intraday Calls

Review of the Last Intraday:

During previous intraday the Nifty moved in a range of 87 points. The Share Bazaar closed 76 points positive at 6298, after making an intraday high and low of 6302 and 6215 respectively. Yesterday, European indices were up. FTSE was up 115 points, CAC was up 105 points, and DAX was up 230 points. US markets were also up. Dow Jones closed up 228 points, S&P 500 was up 28 points, and Nasdaq was up by 75 points.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:

On the last trading day, FIIs bought Rs. 186 crores in cash segment while DIIs sold Rs. 345 crores in cash. FIIs purchased Rs. 705 crores in Index futures and FIIs bought Rs. 744 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs bought Rs. 320 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 22 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI. 

Options Segment Activity:

In f&o market, March series options data tells that, Nifty 6400 call adds 7.4 lac shares. Nifty 6300 put adds 9.8 lac shares. Highest OI of 51.5 lac shares is at 6300 call and 64.8 lac shares is at 6200 put. According to options data, bulls have upper hand on bears.

  

Currency Market:

In the currency market the USDINR closed at 61.85. The INR was strong by 0.19 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading up. Nikkei is up 232 points, Hang Seng is up 181 points Taiwan is up by 81 points, and Kospi is up by 19 points. IDEA was bought for delivery at 131 with a stop loss of 127. Today Nifty opened at 6328 up 30 points and made an intraday high of 6333 and low of 6287 till 12 p.m.

Mid-day Review:
For the intraday, till 1:05 p.m. Nifty is up about 26 points. Top gainers for Nifty are BANKBARODA, PNB, and MARUTI while losers are TATAPOWER, HCLTECH, and BHARTIARTL.
