Intraday Calls

Review of the Last Intra-day:

During previous intraday the Nifty moved in a range of 75 points. The Share Bazaar closed 10 points positive at 6537, after making an intraday high and low of 6562 and 6487 respectively. Yesterday, European indices were mix. FTSE was down 23 points, CAC was up 4 points, and DAX was down 85 points. US markets were down. Dow Jones closed down 34 points, S&P 500 was down 0.87 points, and Nasdaq was down by 2 points.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:

On the last trading day, FIIs bought Rs. 1254 crores in cash segment while DIIs sold Rs. 1045 crores in cash. FIIs sold Rs. 145 crores in Index futures and FIIs sold Rs. 466 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 89 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 139 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI. 

Options Segment Activity:

In f&o market, March series options data tells that, Nifty 6600 call adds 6.6 lac shares. Nifty 6500 put adds 6 lac shares and Nifty 6400 put adds 5.6 lac shares. Highest OI of 42.4 lac shares is at 6600 call and 69.4 lac shares is at 6200 put. According to options data, bulls are pushing bears above the level of 6500.

  

Currency Market:

In the currency market the USDINR closed at 60.85. The INR was strong by 0.23 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading mix. Nikkei is up 99 points, Hang Seng is down 18 points Taiwan is up by 36 points, and Kospi is down by 1 point. Today Nifty opened at 6537 and made an intra-day high of 6562 and low of 6510 till 11:06 a.m. We should buy in the weakness of market.

Nifty is at 6522 down 15 points. Nifty made an intraday high of 6562 and low of 6504 till 1:16 p.m. Top gainers for Nifty are DLF, TATATPOWER, and AMBUJACEM whereas losers are TATASTEEL, HINDALCO, and SUNPHARMA. Intraday Options Data:

Nifty has made an intraday high of 6562 and low of 6494 till 3:07 p.m. Intraday options data tells that, Nifty 6600 call adds 4 lac shares. Nifty 6500 put adds 5.3 lac shares.
