Review of the Last Intra-day:
During previous intraday the Nifty made a high of 6523 and low 6473. After making an intraday range of 50 points, the Share Bazaar closed down 41 points at 6483. On the last trading day, European indices were mix. FTSE was down 31 points, CAC was up 20 point, and DAX was up 19 points. US markets were up. Dow Jones closed up 109 points, S&P 500 was up 11 points, and Nasdaq was up by 12 points.
FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:
Yesterday, FIIs bought Rs. 722 crores in cash segment while DIIs sold Rs. 563 crores in cash. FIIs sold Rs. 133 crores in Index futures and FIIs purchased Rs. 35 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 624 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 126 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI.
Options Segment Activity:
In f&o market, March series options data tells that, Nifty 6500 call adds 7.8 lac shares and Nifty 6600 call add 5.1 lac shares. Nifty 6500 put sheds 9.2 lac shares. Maximum 57.4 lac shares are outstanding at 6600 call and 66.4 lac shares at 6400 put. According to options data, bears have upper hand on bulls.
Beginning of the Day:
Today morning, Asian markets are trading flat. Nikkei is closed, Hang Seng is up 56 points, Taiwan is up by 16 points, and Kospi is up by 12 points.
