Intraday Calls

Review of the Last Intraday:

During previous intraday the Nifty moved in a range of 29 points. The Share Bazaar closed 2 points negative at 6301, after making an intraday high and low of 6327 and 6298 respectively. Yesterday, European indices were closed. US markets were also closed. 

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:

On the last trading day, FIIs bought Rs. 10 crores in cash segment while DIIs sold Rs. 212 crores in cash. FIIs sold Rs. 15 crores in Index futures and FIIs bought Rs. 553 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs bought Rs. 24 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 1 crore.

Options Segment Activity:

In f&o market, January series options data tells that, Nifty 6500 call adds 2.3 lac shares and have highest OI at 46.3 lac shares. Nifty 6300 put have the highest OI at 40.8 lac shares. Bulls/Bears activity is muted.  

  

Currency Market:

In the currency market the USDINR closed at 61.9. The INR was weak by 0.10 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading mix. Nikkei is closed, Hang Seng is up 121 points, Taiwan is up by 10 points and Kospi is down by 2 points. Here you can find latest detail on world market indices along with intraday charts. SGX Nifty is trading 9 points positive till 7:09 a.m. So we can expect a flat opening.

Today Nifty opened at 6301 down 1 point and made an intraday high of 6358 and low of 6300 till 10:10 a.m. The Nifty is near its resistance level.

Mid-day Review:

For the intraday, till 1:05 p.m. Nifty is up about 40 points. Top gainers for Nifty are BANKBARODA, RANBAXY, and PNB while losers are NTPC, COALINDIA, and AMBUJACEM. Intraday Options Data:
