Intraday Calls

Review of the Last Intraday:
During previous intraday the Nifty made a high of 6284 and low 6170. After making an intraday range of 114 points, the Nifty closed up 106 points at 6274. On the last trading day, European indices were up. FTSE was up 22 points, CAC was up 17 points, and DAX was up 64 points. US markets were also positive. Dow Jones closed up 42 points, S&P 500 was up 9 points, and Nasdaq was up by 47 points.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:
Yesterday, FIIs bought Rs. 990 crores in cash segment whereas DIIs sold Rs. 248 crores in cash. FIIs bought Rs. 347 crores in Index futures and FIIs bought Rs. 758 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs bought Rs. 234 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 64 crores.   

Options Segment Activity:
In Nifty options segment, Nifty 6300 call sheds 11.5 lac shares and 6200 call sheds 19.5 lac shares. Nifty 6350 call adds 11 lac shares. That means bears are on back foot and try to protect the level of 6300. Nifty 6300 call have the highest OI at 65 lac shares while highest OI of 66.7 lac shares is at Nifty 6200 put. Bulls sold 14 lac shares in 6300 put and 21.3 lac shares in 6200 put.  

Currency Market:

In the currency market the USDINR closed at 62.03. The INR was strong by 0.12 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading positive. Nikkei is closed, Hang Seng is up 98 points Taiwan is up by 51 points and Kospi is up by 12 points. For the intraday, till 1:07 p.m. Nifty is up about 27 points. Top gainers for Nifty are DLF, PNB, and JINDALSTEL and losers are INFY, HDFC, and TATAPOWER. Intraday Options Data:
