During previous intraday the Nifty made a high of 6300 and low 6232. After making an intraday range of 68 points the Nifty closed up 80 points at 6241. On the last trading day, European indices were down. FTSE was down 12 points, CAC was down 49 points, and DAX was down 56 points. US markets were down. Dow Jones closed down 68 points, S&P 500 was down 8 points, and Nasdaq was down 5 points.

Yesterday, FIIs bought Rs. 1152 crores in cash segment whereas DIIs sold Rs. 674 crores in cash. FIIs bought Rs. 772 crores in Index futures and FIIs bought Rs. 1443 crores of index options. In stock futures FIIs bought Rs. 697 crores and in stock options FIIs bought Rs. 9 crores.   

In Nifty options segment, Nifty 6500 call adds 6.4 lac shares and 6400 call adds 13.9 lac shares. Highest OI of 58 lac shares is at Nifty 6500 call. Nifty 6000 put have the highest OI at 55.4 lac shares. The heavy OI addition in 6400 and 6500 call along with the buying figure of 1443 crores in index option by FIIs tells that Nifty is going to break its previous high of 6357 in this month.  

Today morning, Asian markets are trading mix. Nikkei up 3 points, Hang Seng down 49 points Taiwan up by 6 points and Kospi down by 1 points. Here you can find latest detail on world market indices along with intraday charts. SGX Nifty is trading 5 points positive till 7:06 a.m. So we can expect a flat opening.

Positional Call is JINDALSTEL bought at 266, revised stop loss is 266 and target is 292. 

Today Nifty opened at 6234 down 7 points and made an intraday high of 6268 and low of 6230 till 9:43 a.m. The market may remain in a small range before the event of the results of the four state elections on Monday.

Nifty is at 6242 up 1 point. Nifty made an intraday high of 6268 and low of 6230 till 1:02 p.m. As expected, Nifty is moving in a small range before the big event. Top gainers for Nifty are TATAPOWER, COALINDIA, and NTPC whereas losers are JPASSOCIAT, IDFC, and HDFC. Here you can find more detail on gainers and losers. On the options front, Nifty 6300 call adds 5.7 lac shares and 6400 call adds 5 lac shares. Nifty 6200 put adds 5.1 lac shares, 6100 put adds 4.6 lac shares, and 6000 put adds 5.6 lac shares. Nifty has made a low of 6230 and high of 6269 till 3:02 p.m. Intraday options data tells that, Nifty 6300 call adds 10.5 lac shares, 6400 call adds 6.8 lac shares, 6500 call adds 6.3 lac shares, 6600 call adds 6.2 lac shares, 6700 call adds 4.2 lac shares, and 6800 call adds 6 lac shares. On the other hand, Nifty 6200 put adds 6 lac shares, Nifty 6000 put adds 5.4 lac shares, and Nifty 5900 put adds 6.5 lac shares.
