Intraday Calls

During previous intraday the Nifty made a high of 6228 and low 6171. After making an intraday range of 57 points the Nifty closed at 6217. On the last trading day, European indices were down. FTSE was down 55 points, CAC was down 9 points, and DAX was down 3 points. US markets were down. Dow Jones closed down 78 points, S&P 500 was down 5 points, and Nasdaq was down 15 points.

Yesterday, FIIs bought Rs. 791 crores in cash segment whereas DIIs sold Rs. 618 crores in cash. FIIs bought Rs. 521 crores in Index futures and FIIs bought Rs. 1278 crores of index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 140 crores and in stock options FIIs bought Rs. 12 crores.   

In Nifty options segment, Nifty 6500 call adds 5.5 lac shares and Nifty 6400 call adds 4.6 lac shares. One interesting development is that Nifty 6600 call and 6700 call are also adding 6 to 7 lac shares. Highest OI is building at Nifty 6500 call. Nifty 6200 put add 5.4 lac shares. Nifty 6000 put have the highest OI at 53 lac shares.   

Today morning, Asian markets are trading down except Nikkei (up 106), Hang Seng down 150 points Taiwan down by 13 points and Kospi down by 12 points. Today Nifty opened at 6204 down 13 points. Nifty made an intraday high of 6212 and low of 6194 till 9:44 a.m.

Nifty made an intraday high of 6225 and low of 6194 till 1 p.m. Top gainers for Nifty are JINDALSTEL, GAIL, and HINDALCO whereas losers are DRREDDY, M&M, and KOTAKBANK. On the options front, Nifty 6300 call adds 4.5 lac shares and Nifty 6700 call add 5.5 lac shares. Nifty 6000 put, 6100 put, and 6000 put adds 2 to 3 lac shares.
