Intraday Calls

During previous intraday the Nifty made a high of 6049 and low 5972. After making an intraday range of 77 points the Nifty closed at 5995. On the last trading day, European indices were mix. FTSE was down 7 points, CAC was up 25 points, and DAX was up 23 points. US markets were up. Dow Jones closed up 55 points, Nasdaq was up by 22 points and S&P 500 was up by 9 points.

Yesterday, FIIs sold Rs. 3 crores in cash segment whereas DIIs sold Rs.252 crores in cash. FIIs purchased Rs. 56 crores in Index futures and bought Rs. 477 crores of index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 101 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 4 crores.   

In Nifty options segment, Nifty 6200 call adds 12.85 lac shares, Nifty 6100 call adds 11.85 lac shares, and Nifty 6000 call adds 10.7 lac shares. Whereas Nifty 6000 put adds 9 lac shares and Nifty 5900 put adds 7 lac shares. So till expiry, Nifty should take support around 5900 and expiry may be near 6000.   

Today morning, Asian markets are trading positive, Nikkei up 212 points, Hang Seng up 52 points Taiwan up by 93 points and Kospi up by 12 points. Here you can find latest detail on world market indices  along with intraday charts. SGX Nifty is trading 29 points positive till 7:05 a.m. So we can expect a positive opening.

Today Nifty opened at 6036 up 37 points and made an intraday  high of 6091 and low 6036 till 9:51 a.m. Nifty is near resistance level.

For the intraday till 1:05 p.m. Nifty is up about 70 points. Top gainers for Nifty are BPCL, ICICIBANK, and LT and losers are BHARTIARTL, INFY, and SSTL. On the options front, Nifty 6100 put adds 16.5 lac shares and Nifty 6000 put also add more than 13 lac shares. Nifty 6000 call shed 13.4 lac shares. Nifty has made a high of 6122 till 3:12 p.m. Intraday options data further suggests that the next support for Nifty is around 6000. Because Nifty 6100 put adds 24.7 lac shares, Nifty 6000 put adds 19 lac shares, and Nifty 6000 call sheds 21.4 lac shares. Nifty 6100 call sheds 7.5 lac shares. I have closed all Intraday trades.
